Yes without taking the TANCET students can still be admitted to the MBA/PGDM programme at the Akshaya Institute of Management Studies in Coimbatore. For management quota seats, candidates may apply if they have valid CAT, MAT or CMAT scores. A Bachelor degree with 50% (45% for Tamil Nadu reserved categories) is required for eligibility. Candidates must take part in-person interviews and group discussions before receiving counselling To ensure a fair admissions process, selection is based on entrance scores, interview performance and document verification.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks (45% for Tamil Nadu reserved categories) and a valid TANCET score in order to be considered for the MBA/PGDM programme at Akshaya Institute of Management Studies. In order to be admitted one must register for TANCET take the test and attend counselling. Candidates having valid CAT, MAT or CMAT results may also apply but must attend group discussions and personal interviews. Document verification counselling performance, and entrance exam rank are the criteria used for selection.

Depending on the source the two-year MBA/PGDM programme at Akshaya Institute of Management Studies (AIMS), Coimbatore costs between INR 1,40,000 and INR 1,80,000. Tuition for specialisations including finance, marketing, human resources, systems, operations and shipping and logistics management is usually covered by this which comes to INR 70,000–90,000 year or INR 35,000–45,000 per semester. Candidates should check with the college for the most recent fee schedule as it may differ somewhat depending on extra factors such one-time expenses.

The cutoff marks for Bapuji MBA College - BIET MBA vary depending on the exam (KMAT or Karnataka PGCET) and the round of admission. For example, the General AI quota cutoff rank for the MBA/PGDM programme in the final round of 2024 was 10881. In 2023, the cutoff was 15867, and in 2022, it was 12794. The Shiksha website provides more detailed cutoff information for the Karnataka PGCET,   and the  website also provides information on BIET Davangere cutoff.

For Bapuji MBA College's BIET MBA/PGDM program,  KMAT 2025 registration is ongoing until June 30, 2025. The KMAT exam is expected to be held in September 2025, with the admit card release tentatively scheduled for the same month. The KMAT 2025 exam date is August 24, 2025 (Expected)
