Baby IIMs refer to the newly established IIMs, which include IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, IIM Amritsar, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Sambalpur, and IIM Jammu. These IIMs have been established after 2010 and offer very few courses apart from PGP.

Admission to MBA in Media Management is primarily based on scores from national or institute-level entrance exams but some colleges also provide admissions on merit basis. Some of the Entrance Exams that you can consider taking are:

CAT  – Conducted by IIMs, accepted by many top business schools.

XAT  – Conducted by XLRI, accepted by various institutes.

MAT – Conducted by AIMA, held multiple times a year.

CMAT – Conducted by NTA, used by AICTE-approved colleges.

The total tuition fee for BBA courses at Somaiya Vidyavihar University ranges from INR 7.5 Lacs to INR 10 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BBA courses at RICS School of Built Environment is INR 12.4 lakh. Hence, it clearly can be seen that SVU Mumbai is more affordable than RICS School of Built Environment for BBA courses. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing institutes but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.

RIIM Pune PGDM admission is done on the basis of the entrance exam. The eligibility requires students to complete graduation from a recognised university. Further, students must provide valid entrance scores. The institute accepts CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT, etc. Final selection is done on the basis of WA+GD+PI rounds. As per the NMIMS SBM Mumbai MBA cutoff data for 2023, the overall cutoff for the general AI category students based on the NMAT scores stood at 248. Earlier, in 2022, the cutoff for the same category of students stood at 212. This fluctuating trend reflects an increase in competition among students.

There is only one Government College in India that provides MBA in Media Management Course which is Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya The Fees for this College is INR 1.98 Lakh. The College accepts Cuet PG Exam for the admission into MBA in Media Management and has 120 seats.
