GIBS Business School's student community is known for being diverse, open-minded and cooperative. Many students are drawn from many various states, languages and cultures. This diversity provides learners with the opportunity to get new perspectives and create an environment for cross-cultural collaboration, engaging students working together and learning.

The school also creates an inclusive atmosphere by forming mixed groups during cultural programs and through social action activities (i.e., clubs). All of these programs allow students to connect on a personal level by expressing who they are as individuals.

Culturally, students at GIBS are encouraged to participate in leagues, community service, manage sport orientation and other cultural events, which create a sense of belonging and allow students to build strong connections and maintain open lines of communication with one another. The casp of the surrounding area is multicultural, where individuals come from various ethnicities, speak different languages and have a variety of religious beliefs.

Regardless of the campus' diversity concerning the numerous regions of India represented, external reviewers have noted that there remains potential to enhance aspects such as; the number of international students pursuing an education at GIBS; or adding more women into the male-dominated industry.

In summary, GIBS is an accepting environment where individuals work together as part of a diverse community while participating in clubs and group functions. Therefore, students learn to develop their individual educational/transitional professional skills as well as their social skills while attending GIBS.

The internship and live project experience are important components of the GIBS Curriculum because they allow students to connect academic study with practical application in the workplace. Internships provide students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working at a company, learn more about the culture of the organisation and apply theories learned in class to solve challenges faced by businesses.

Live projects provide students with an opportunity to work on real-time issues that the industry is dealing with; students will be required to analyze data, create strategies and make presentations to industry professionals on how they would approach these problems. These hands-on experiences help develop students' problem-solving skills, improve their decision-making abilities, build teamwork skills and confidence.

Additionally, the internship and live project experience gives students an advantage in creating a strong resume and enhances their employability by providing them with experience working in the industry prior to graduation.
