There is no sectional limit for the BMAT exam. The overall duration of the BMAT exam is three hours or 180 minutes. Candidates have to adhere to the time limit of the exam as extra time will not be given to the candidates and the system will reset after the time is over. There is a total of 200 questions in the BMAT exam, hence, the students are adviced not spend over 2-3 minutes on one question.

Numerical Ability section of the BMAT question paper is tough. The important topics of this section include Arithmetic, Algebra Modern Math, Geometry, Number System Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time, Speed and Distance, Mensuration Permutation and Combination, Quadratic Equation, Logarithm, Probability Statistics Pie Chart, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Mixture and Allegations, Time and Work, etc. The Numerical Skills in BMAT exam tests the mathematical ability of the students.

The BMAT syllabus is prescribed by the exam conducting authority, Bharatiya Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be) University. The BMAT syllabus is spread across four sections, i.e. English Language and Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning and Management Skills. The BMAT syllabus tests the candidate’s aptitude, mathematical ability and hold over the English language.

The BMAT result was released on April 16, 2025. The exam was conducted on April 13, 2025, for the first session. The BMAT result cum scorecard was made available online only on the official website of BVP University and there is no offline communication in regard to the BMAT result. Candidates who match the cutoff of the participating institutes are required to appear for the further admission process.

Every year after 2008, CAT is being conducted online. So, there are various books which assure you that we are providing you previous year CAT papers but they are not. You can only access CAT papers till 2008 which is very well there online. You have to practice as much you can so as to built your speed and accuracy which matters the most in the exam. If you had good practice and you know how to apply them you can score good marks in exam. Moreover practice AIMCATS, SAMCATS and various test series which provide you the basic idea and helps in testing your practice.

BCAT is an entrance exam for admission into the MCA program at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU), Pune. The course has a full regular duration of three years and this exam also allows lateral entry into the second year of MCA at the same university.
The eligibility for the exam is a minimum of 50% at graduation level with maths as a subject in graduation or in 12th.
For the lateral entry one needs to be a pass out with at least 50% in BCA/BE/B.Tech/B.Sc IT, with the same maths at 12th level.
