CA Scope

There is no much difference between CA (ICAI) and CMA (ICMAI). While pursuing CA, articleship of 3 years is compulsory. CMA offers jobs to gain work experience just after its level-2 exams I.e. CMA-Inter. However, any one can qualify all levels of CMA with minimum gap of one year.

CA is a highly decorative profession. Once a student completes the certification, there is no issue of getting a job. Besides one can also practice privately in his career. Since it is a statutory designation, the value of certification is very high. As a person gets experienced the benefits of package go on increasing. Initially after completing the certification a good candidate can start with 6lacs per annum package approximately. This package actually depends on the negotiating capability of the candidate with the employer at the time of the interview. I hope this would suffice. All the best and God bless you.

CA is highly paid profession. It really has a great future, class 12th with accountancy will add up as an value.

Stenography will fetch you a limited scope clerical job. CA certification is itself very significant and will make you an expert in the field of Accountancy, Taxation and Law.

First of all please don't panic. Before taking any decision first try to know what actually is your interest area. No doubt a CA gets better package than MBA but CA is tough too. I would not ask you to leave CA at once.

Knowledge and skills of Finance is a vital for a Management consultant. You are advised to complete CA first before seeking admission in MBA in top 30 Schools to become management consultant.

CA is the only course which is cheaper and has a lot of scope in India as well as foreign countries. If once you completed your CA, there are chances of getting selected within a week with a starting salary package of 50-75k per month but only if you complete your CA.

MBA in finance is a good choice.

Hello Kush! Only if you have the ability and belief to crack both their exams, I'll advise you to go ahead. Not to discourage you, but studying CA and then MBA is not everyone's cup of tea. I don't have much idea about CA but you can pursue MBA in Finance stream(as you've mentioned). Also I think there's no need to do for CA, if you pursue MBA from top B-schools like JBIMS, IIM Kolkata, etc.
