Hi,
You may contact the universities regarding this. Write to them with your interest to apply and ask for the career assistance they provide. How many graduates are working and where are they located? Doing research or a job is your choice, the university will offer you platform for both.

In their terms, a post graduate degree means a Ph.D or any degree you pursue after you graduate. When you say you graduated it means you completed your Master's. Now, there are PG Diploma courses too in Canada which are vocational or career oriented courses. A Masters generally lead to research. Which option you should opt is upto you, do you like research or looking for a professional degree?

Hi. You can apply for Masters. However most of the MS courses are competitive and you need to plan a year before your intended start date.
