To be eligible for admission to the B.E. or B.Tech course at Canara Engineering College, you must meet the following criteria:
Pass the 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%
Have appeared for at least one of the following entrance exams: CET, COMEDK-UGET, JEE, or KRLMPCA UGCET
For SC, ST, Category 1, and OBC Category candidates, the minimum aggregate is 40%
The final selection is based on merit in KCET or JEE Main. 40% of the total intake is filled through KCET, while 30% each is allotted under Konkani quota and NRI/Others.

The eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech is as follows at Canara Engineering College:
Educational Qualification: Completed the 12th standard of schooling or equivalent examination by a recognised board, the compulsory subjects being Physics and Chemistry and Mathematics and having English as one of the languages of examination.
