It's the same thing. By 2017 all the IIMs were providing PGDM degree that doesn't mean that from 2018 all the PGDM degrees are of no use. In PGDM, you gain the knowledge of all the subjects from all the streams like finance, marketing, operations, sales, etc., and in the 2nd year, you need to choose your specialisation, whichever field you find interesting.

To apply for CAT and to do further MBA or PGDM, you need to complete your graduation with more than 50% marks.

Yes, definitely you can get a call for GDPI from FMS BHU. You need to prepare well for GDPI, as all the things depend upon that. If all goes well, you are in FMS BHU. There are other colleges as well for which you can apply at that percentage i.e. KJ Somaiya , Department of Management, BITS Pilani.

For graduation courses, candidates who have appeared for 10+2 exam are also eligible. The qualifying marks for SEBC candidates from the state of Kerala is 55% in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in mathematics as well. An overall 50% marks in aggregate is required apply for CUSAT CAT. It depends on your category. If you are a general category student, you need to score upwards of 99 percentile to get an interview call.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview based on score/ percentile obtained in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT.
Final Selection:
Candidates are selected based on score/ percentile in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT and performance in group discussion & personal interview. Due weightage is given to past academic achievements and work experience respectively, apart from the above-mentioned parameters. Selection parameter and weightage:
Score/ percentile in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT- 50%
Group Discussion - 10%
Personal Interview - 15%
Work Experience, Sports & Extra Curricular Activities- 5%.
