To get into Anna University for the MBA/PGDM course, students would need to appear in the accepted exam, like CAT, MAT, and TANCET.

Students who appear in the CAT or MAT exam would need to attain a valid percentile, and only then are they eligible for the next round of admission, which involves GD, PI, and WAT.

For the TANCET exam, valid ranks are needed, and then participants have to take part in the counselling process to get a seat.

No, you can not join Anna University without appearing for an entrance exam if you want admission to the MBA/PGDM course. Students can either take the CAT or MAT exam, attain a valid percentile and then proceed to the next round.

Or they can take the TANCET entrance examination, attain valid ranks and then take part in the counselling process to avail a seat at this institution.

No, CAT is not required for Audisankara College of Engineering and Technology MBA admissions. The college instead accepts Andhra Pradesh ICET scores to shortlist students for the programme.

The percentile needed for admission would depend on the category you belong to. JAGSoM accepts various entrance examinations for admission to the MBA/PGDM course, like CAT, XAT, MAT, etc.

As per the estimated XAT cutoff in 2026, a percentile of 70 would be good enough to secure a chance at admission for the management course.  For the CAT and MAT exams, 75 percentile was the final cutoff.

Note -  The cutoff is not official; it is an estimate.

No, the Karnataka PGCET exam is not mandatory for admission to ISBR's MBA/ PGDM courses. The institution also accepts various national-level exams, like CAT, XAT, and NMAT.

Students who get valid results in any of the above exams are eligible to apply to ISBR, after they have cleared the eligibility rules and the cutoff.

For PGDM and MBA admissions at GIBS Business School, the college is very flexible with entrance exams. They accept:

  • CAT
  • XAT
  • MAT
  • CMAT
  • ATMA
  • GMAT

Even if you don't have any of these scores, you can still get admission through their direct admission or interview process.

You don't strictly need CAT to get into GIBS Business School. They accept both CAT and MAT scores, but even if you haven't appeared for them, you can still get admission through their direct admission or interview process.

  • CAT → accepted, helps in selection

  • MAT → also accepted, gives another option

  • No exam → possible through interview or direct admission

  • Focus on communication, confidence, and overall profile

In short, GIBS is flexible. You can join even without CAT or MAT if you perform well in the selection process.
