The difficulty level of CEED exam has been maintained by authorities over the years. However, most design aspirants share that if difficulty level of all design entrance exams conducted for PG level courses is compared then CEED is slightly easier than NID Entrance Exam. This is primarily because the drawing questions asked in NID that are considered to be tougher than those put forth in CEED exam. Note that CEED exam is for admission to the M.Des courses offered by the eight participating colleges. Meanwhile, the NID that for the M.Des programme has three participating colleges.

IIT Bombay declared the results of CEED 2026 online on March 04, 2026. To check results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portals using their login ID.

Rohit Ravindra Waghmare topped the CEED topper list 2025 with 82.38 marks out of 100. CEED 2023 exam was topped by Khyati Rathor, who secured the AIR 1. She secured 68.85 marks in the exam, out of 100 marks. Simon George Cherian got the second position and scored 66.63 marks.

IIT Bombay released the admission notification for CEED 2027 exam on October 01, 2026.
The portal contains updates about the CEED exam. It also contains useful resources like previous years' question papers, answer keys, and course fee details. The candidate needs to carefully go through the notification to ensure their eligibility and prepare for the exam.

CEED Entrance Examination 2027 will be conducted on January 17, 2027. The exam timing will be 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

IIT Bombay conducted CEED 2026 exam on January 18, 2026 from 9 AM to 12 PM. It was conducted at 27 centres. Candidates had to report at 7 AM with admit card and ID proof.

IIT Bombay has not given any dates for editing the CEED application form 2024. This means once the application form is submitted, the candidate won’t be able to edit it.
So, when applying for CEED 2024, the candidate needs to bear the necessary caution.
The application form for CEED 2024 is currently open. The last date to fill out the form with regular fee is October 31, 2023. However, with late fees, the candidate can apply from November 1-8, 2023.

The counseling process for CEED qualified candidates is conducted by the participating colleges soon after the results of the entrance exam are declared.
Note that IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment for CEED 2024; interestingly, the institute conducts centralized counseling for UCEED 2024 (B.Des admission).
So, the candidate has to apply directly to the participating institutes with their CEED 2024 scores.
The application schedule for admission will be notified by the respective participating institutes on their admission portals. The candidate will have to apply within the given deadline.

The final answer key for CEED 2026 for Part A was released on January 28, 2026. Final Question was also released.

The candidate will be given an option to challenge the draft key. The schedule will be notified on the official website. The objections have to be submitted through the candidate portal.
The link to upload comments is expected to be activated on the official CEED 2026 admission portals - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To upload a comment, you are required to log in to the portals using your candidate login details.
The candidate will have to follow the Master Question Paper for uploading comments. It is because question booklets with different paper codes had a different arrangement (or order) of the questions. Also, the comment should be support
