CSJMU offers admission to BTech programme based on entrance exam score. Candidates are first required to apply for BTech at CSJMU official website. The selection for BTech course is based on JEE Main or merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection process, a merit list is released with the names of shortlisted aspirants. Once the selection rounds are over, shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants must confirm their seat with the course fee to avoid rejection.

Candidates can take admission in CSJMU BCA course based on CUET-UG score or merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants if planning to get a seat in BCA through CUET-UG score must first check the exam pattern and syllabus. CUET is an online exam conducted by NTA once in a year.
As per the exam pattern, CUET will have Section 1A, Section 1B, General Test, and domain-specific subjects.
