MGMBIT placements are competitive among biosciences and yet a little lower compared to CSMU. Generally, 60-70% placements are abided by MGMIBT with average packages of INR 3-4 Lacs per annum from industries like Biocon or Serum Institute, whereas CSMU covers the placement from 70-80% based on their wide programs and an average of INR 4-5 Lacs.
Both universities are good places, on a regional basis, but CSMU is slightly better with regard to volume and salary as of early 2025, according to usual trends.

This range means that one can easily score a competitive score but although the overall quota is secured, the list is not tallied based on this scale alone but on group discussion, personal interview, work experience, and academic performance. It is suggested to try to get a higher percentile in case to increase a chance to get a desirable result, as the admission is based on merit and the total number of applicants during the year.
