Candidates who have registered for admission at Durg University Chhattisgarh must wait for the release of the merit list on the basis of Class 10 and 12 marks. Depending upon the candidate's rank on the merit list and the competition for their choice of location/institution, the final cutoff will be released on the official college admission portal.

Each course requires candidates to upload only the qualifying marks for a course on the official university portal. To enroll in the BSc programme of Durg University Chhattisgarh, a candidate must follow the steps below:

Step 2: Select the Course preference as BSc and the College preference.

Step 3: Fill in the required details.

Step 4: Register or Log in with ABC ID

Yes, Durg University Chhattisgarh and its courses have been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and have been empowered to award degrees through its own departments and constituent/affiliated colleges. Furthermore, Durg University Chhattisgarh, has also been established as a State University by the Chhattisgarh State legislature after being bifurcated from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University of Raipur.

It was established in 2015 by the Chhattisgarh Act No. 16 of 2015 when the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University of Raipur, Chhattisgarh was bifurcated into two Universities. Durg University currently gives affiliation to 158 government and private colleges in the state of Chhattisgarh.
