The number of seats for the BCom depends upon the number of affiliate colleges under Durg University Chhattisgarh, that offer BCom as a programme and their respective intake capacity. Candidates who register for admission into Durg University Chhattisgarh, BCom programme, will have to specify their preferred locations/institutions and depending on their score and preferences, seat allocation will be determined for the candidate.

Durg University Chhattisgarh offers a variety of courses in various fields at both UG and PG levels. Such as BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, etc., in a variety of specialisations. Durg University also comes equipped with a PhD cell that offers supervised PhD programmes with a separate structure and entrance exams.

Yes, Durg University Chhattisgarh and its courses have been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and have been empowered to award degrees through its own departments and constituent/affiliated colleges. Furthermore, Durg University Chhattisgarh, has also been established as a State University by the Chhattisgarh State legislature after being bifurcated from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University of Raipur.

Yes, Durg University Chhattisgarh and its affiliated colleges offer admissions on a merit basis based on the marks obtained in qualifying exams. For UG courses, candidates must upload their Class 10 and 12 marksheets to determine their rank on the merit list. For PG courses, the same applies, but with the Degree marksheet being required.

Yes, Durg University Chhattisgarh, is a government-owned university. It was established in 2015 by the Chhattisgarh Act No. 16 of 2015 when the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University of Raipur, Chhattisgarh was bifurcated into two Universities. Durg University currently gives affiliation to 158 government and private colleges in the state of Chhattisgarh.

Durg University Chhattisgarh, offers affiliation to a variety of colleges, over a hundred in number. These colleges consist of both government and private colleges. The quality of one's education will depend upon which college affiliated with Durg University one gains admission to. However, all colleges under Durg University follow the latest NEP 2020 guidelines. Moreover, the degrees they offer are recognised by the UGC.
