Yes, candidates will have to pay fee for challenging the CUET UG provisional answer key. National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CUET UG 2025 provisional answer key tentatively in first week of July 2025. Candidates who appears for the exam are able to challenge the CUET 2025 provisional answer key till prescribed last date. Candidates challenging the answer key will be able to challenge one or more responses and will have to pay the fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. Students will have to submit the valid proof to challenge the answer key. On the basis of the challenges received, authorities releases the CUET final answer key. The CUET 2025 final answer key is expected to release in second week of July 2025. With the help of the final answer key candidates can calculate their probable score before the declaration of CUET UG result 2025.

NTA will release the CUET UG provisional answer key 2026 tentatively in third week of June 2026. Candidates will be able to challenge the CUET answer key 2026 within the given window in online mode only. On the basis of the challenges received, autorities releases the CUET 2026 revised answer key (expected in first week of July 2025). Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to calculate their scores for CUET 2026 before the declaration of results. 

CUET 2026 results are expected to be announced in first week of July 2025. Based on score obtained, candidates will have to appear for the counselling process of the participating universities they have applied for. Candidates must make sure that they register for the courses and university they wish to apply in. On the basis of the applications received, participating releases the cut off or merit list. Candidates meeting the cut off criteria will be offered admission to desired UG course.

1. To challenge the CUET UG 2025 provisional answer key, candidates must follow steps below:
2. Login at official website of NTA CUET UG 2025
3. After logging in, click on 'View/Challenge Answer Keys'
4. Questions can be viewed in sequential order
5. The ID next to the question under the column 'Correct Option' stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA
6. To challenge one or more answer keys, candidates have to use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
7. Candidates can upload supporting documents in which they can select 'Choose File' and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file)
8. Next, they have to scroll down and click on the 'Save Your Claim' tab and move to the next screen where all the challenged questions' Option IDs will be visible
9. Click on 'Save Claim and Pay Fee Finally'
10. Select Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

CUET UG answer key challenge window will open tentatively in second week of June 2026. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to raise objections against the CUET UG answer key within the stipulated period of time. Candidates will have to pay the non-refundable fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. The CUET UG provisional answer key is displayed for two to three days. Only paid challenges made during the given period will be considered for revision. On the basis of the objections received, CUET UG 2026 final answer key will be released tentatively in first week of July 2026 at cuet.samarth.ac.in. NTA will not confirm the outcome of the CUET answer key challenges made. CUET UG 2026 result will be computed on the basis of the CUET final answer key 2026.

National Testing Agency will release the CUET 2026 final answer key before the announcement of results. NTA releases the revised CUET answer key based on the objections received at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates are given opportunity to challenge the CUET UG answer key 2026 within a three-day window. The date to challenge the answer key will be notified. Only paid challenges made during the stipulated period will be considered. CUET answer key challenges without justification/evidence, and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link for CUET UG will not be considered. CUET UG 2026 results will be compiled based on the final answer key. Candidates will not get the outcome of the challenges received.
