The only eligibility is a graduate degree from any recognized board or university or college whether it is regular or distance doesn't affect your eligibility. The entrance form of the FTII Pune comes generally in the month of May/July. You can start your passion from Theatre, because through that you will get the all the basic and that give your platform to perform in front of real lovers of acting. But, my another suggestion is you should start any Bachelor’s degree like Mass Communication through that you can understand the value of media and you can start doing networking for your acting career, and to cover up your education .You should aim for National school of drama, through that you can achieve your goal and that’s a temple for all the aspiring actors.

There are many best colleges for Bachelors in Filmmaking, but I would recommend for a distance learning university, the name is Guglielmo Marconi distance learning Italian University. The course they offer is Bachelor Degree in Cinematic Arts, Film and Television. In this course, you get lectures, direct Interaction with the Instructor, etc.
