The UPSC examination recruits candidates for 24 different Civil Services posts through the Civil Service Examination (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

The candidates should note that there is no minimum marks that can be ascretained for the IAS. The final UPSC merit list is based on the marks secured in the main (written) and personlaity test condcuted at Dholpur House, UPSC. The Commission arrange the candidates in the order of their merit and select top candidates for the Indian Administrative Service if they have opted for it as their first choice.
The minimum marks for IAS cannot be asertained as the cutoff for each year differs from year to year.

No, the Union Public Service Commission does not change the IAS syllabus every year. The Commission is required to take the approval of the Ministry of Personnel before changing the syllabus of the IAS exam. So we can say that, the IAS syllabus does not change every year.
The candidates need to read the Civil Service Exam Notification (IAS notification) as released by the Union Public Service Commission to know all the topics mentioned in the IAS syllabus.

The Union Public Service Commission releases the IAS syllabus as a part of the Civil Service Exam notification PDF. The candidates are required to download the Notification PDF to get the IAS syllabus PDF. The candidates can download the IAS syllabus PDF available here.

The Union Public Service Commission releases the IAS question papers for prelims and main exam. The Commission releases the question papers on its official website - upsc.gov.in. The candidates can download the IAS prelims and Mains question paper from the official website.
The candidates are not required to login with their credentials to download the IAS question papers. The Commission release the question papers in PDF.

The Union Public Service Commission did not provide the UPSC CSE application withdrawal facility last year. This year also, the UPSC CSE 2024 notification was released online on February 14, 2024. The Commission did not mention about this facility in the official UPSC CSE 2024 notification.
The last date to apply for the UPSC CSE 2024 exam is March 5, 2024.

The Union Public Service Commission released the IAS 2024 notification online on February 14, 2024. The Commission is expected to release the IAS 2024 admit card online on May 1, 2024. The UPSC will conduct the IAS 2024 exam on May 26, 2024. The Commission will conduct the IAS 2024 exam in online mode in the pen and paper mode. The exam will be conducted at the designated exam centres.
IAS 2024 notification was released online on February 14, 2024 mentioning that there will be 1056 vacancies for the exam.
