Yes, the Union Public Service Commission dropped one question from the IAS prelims exam 2023. The Commission dropped one question from the General Studies Paper 1. The question number 34 (SET A) was dropped from the question paper. The Commission dropped the question from any type of marks consideration. The Commission mentioned "X" as its answer in the official answer key.

The Commission released the IAS answer key 2023 on May 9, 2024.

The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC IAS 2025 prelims and main exam date. The Commission released the IAS 2025 notification online on January 22, 2025. The last date for the IAS 2025 application was February 21, 2025. The Commission will conduct the IAS 2025 prelims exam on May 25, 2025.

The IAS main exam 2025 will be conducted from August 22, 2025. The Commission preponed the main exam by one month.
