As per the CLAT RGNUL 2nd cut off 2025, the closing rank for general category candidate is 1260 through All India counselling. There is no state quota seats available at NLU Patiala in the 2nd allotment list.

So you can't expect with rank 2460.With the general category.I think there are good opportunities ahead with your rank.

Yes, students aspiring to expand their chances of admission to all the NLUs in India must given both the entrance exams. Both, CLAT and AILET will be conducted a week apart in the December month. The syllabus for the AILET & CLAT are almost same, infact the AILET exam has less number of sections than CLAT exam. Students aspiring to sit for both the exams may prepare simultaneously focusing on each section to be asked in exam.

The AILET exam does not have two sections namely, Legal Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude. Also, the questions asked in CLAT exam are lengthy and time taking, while AILET question paper is considered to be completed within time if practiced well. The CLAT exam has 120 questions, i.e., less in comparison to the AILET which has 150 questions.

Both the exams, SLAT & CLAT are based on the 10+2 level syllabus and candidates may find both the exams' difficulty on the same level. The syllabus for both the exam also stands on a similar page and the exams consist of questions from Logical and legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, & General Knowledge. Candidates can appear for both the exams to increase their possibility of admission to the top colleges in India.
