To begin with, you can prepare for CLAT simultaneously as Class 12 if have a smart and consistent approach:

  • Start early – Beginning of Class 12 to manage both studies.
  • Daily Time – 2-3 hours you spend for CLAT preparation each day.
  • Sections covered – English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques.
  • Read daily newspapers like The Hindu or Indian Express.
  • Keep taking mock tests to gain more speed and accuracy.
  • Refresh weekly to reinforce soft spots.

Good material to refer from- either CLAT books or online test series and if necessary coaching.

While it is not impossible, it is a really challenging task. To score well, you must start preparing for CLAT at least six months before. It is very important to score well if you are looking forward to getting into good NLU. For top 10 NLU, you at least need to score between 100 to 105 as per past trends.

The CLAT Application Process ended on October 31, 2025. The Consortium also opened the correction window the very next day. Generally, the CLAT Application Correction Window remains open for two to three days. It must be noted that if you miss this chance to correct the application form, then you won't get any other chance.
