  • Below are the requirements for the MS in Cs course at Clemson University:

  • Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in computer science, including computer organisation, data structures, operating systems, algorithms or theory of computation, compilers or surveys of programming languages, and basic mathematics, including discrete mathematics.

  • An applicant with minimal deficiencies may be admitted with prerequisites, while one with several deficiencies may be required to satisfactorily complete prerequisite work as a non-degree student prior to admission as a graduate student.

There is no Application fee for Masters ( MS in Cs) courses as the university eliminated the fee exclusively. By not having an application fee, the University is creating good options and opportunities for students across the globe to pursue their educational interests and goals without the financial burden on the students.

You will need to provide the following with your application for admission: 

  • A statement of academic purpose (SOP)

  • Applicants must have a list of all their prior colleges or universities, accompanied by unofficial transcripts from each school. However, unofficial transcripts should be uploaded with the applicant's application.

  • Letters of recommendation: Applicants must enter the names of their recommender directly in the application, and they will receive a link to upload a letter on the applicant's behalf.
