CMR Institute of Technology Eligibility

To be eligible for BTech at CMR Institute of Technology Bengaluru, you must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/IT/Biology or related subjects. At least 45% marks are required (40% for reserved categories). Entrance exam scores like KCET/COMEDK/JEE are also accepted.

Candidates must have three year BCA/ Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or Passed B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level from a recognised university with not less than 50% aggregate of all the years of the degree examination and 45% in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1.

CMR Institute of Technology admissions are currently ongoing for various courses. The institute offers admission to all the UG, PG, and doctoral courses on the basis of the scores obtained in the course-specific entrance exam. In order to secure admission to the institute, candidates must appear for national level entrance exams such as JEE Main, AIEEE, GATE, CMAT, etc. as per the desired course. CMRIT offers entrance-based admission. Candidates who are interested in MCA can apply for the admission form online on the official website of the institute. Additionally, applicants must follow the basic eligibility criteria to get admission to MCA and must have a graduation degree with 50% aggregate from a recognised board, Further, candidates must appear and apply for the exam accepted by the institute for admission.

For admission to MCA programme at CMRIT, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility & selection criteria conditions:

The overall seat intake of MBA courses at CMRT is 120. Candidates having a UG degree with 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for admission. After the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, candidates have to visit the official website of CMRIT to apply online.

CMRIT requires at least 50% aggregate in Graduation. Further, candidates belonging to SC/ST and any other groups classified by the Karnataka government required 45% for admission. If any candidates pass another entrance-level exam related to the field, they are also eligible for the course. The institute accepts CMAT/ CAT/MAT/ PGCET/K-MAT exam scores for admission to MBA courses. So if any candidates want admission to CMRIT for an MBA course they must have 50% graduation degree and 45% for SC/ST category students.

CMR Institute of Technology follows entrance exam-based selection criteria for BE admission. The institute considers the scores of entrance exams like JEE Main, CET, and COMEDK for admission to various BE specialisations.

Class 12/ PUC/ equivalent examination in the Science stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate in the final examination is the basic eligibility for BE offered at CMR Institute of Technology. Candidates should have completed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computers along with English as one of the languages. Candidates belonging to reserved categories need a minimum of 40% aggregate.
