The eligibility criteria of B.Tech in CSE at CMR Institute of Technology:

The candidate should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th/Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computers (40% for Karnataka reserved category candidates).

Candidate must also qualify in one of the following entrance exams: CET/ COMED-K/JEE/AIEEE.

Hi.CSE is one of the most popular engineering branch of CMR College of Engineering and Technology. When it comes to the placements, CMR College offers decent placements annually.

As per the latest report, the highest package offered to the CSE batch 2023 stood at INR 58 LPA.

Hi.CMR Institute of Technology is ranked 84th by India Today 2024 under the Engineering (Private) category, 21st among private Engineering colleges across India as per the Education World 2024–25 rankings, and 72 by Times 2024 for BTech. Located in I.T.

The college has a good placement programme. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, and Wipro. Good college with decent facilities.

CMR Institute of Technology accepts COMEDK scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses. As per the Round 2 of the COMEDK cutoff 2024, the ranks ranged between 13498 and 19518 wherein Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. So yes, candidates with a cutoff rank up to 19447 can get admission at CMR Institute of Technology.

To secure admission in the desired course at CMR Institute of Technology, you must meet the respective eligibility set by the institute.  The mode of application at CMR Institute of Technology is online. CMRIT admission 2024 to all the courses is entrance exam-based. However, the institute also offers admission to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students based on merit by following the Management Admission Process.

CMR Institute of Technology course fees include various components such as tuition fees, exam fees, admission fees, and others. Some of the fee components of the fee are paid one time while some fee is paid annually. CMRIT BE fees  (tuition fees) range from INR 3.9 Lacs - INR 7.5 lakh. The tuition fee must be paid once the seats are confirmed. Candidates must visit the campus and complete the admission procedure.
