Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) in Patna has 120 seats for the B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program. 

 The programme is full-time and lasts five years. 

CNLU also has 104 seats for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program, plus 16 seats for NRIs. 

The university's acceptance rate is very low, with only 2–3% of applicants accepted for the CLAT and 0.5% for the AILET. CLAT is considered one of the most difficult entrance exams in India.

To be eligible for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) in Patna, you must: 

Pass your 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 45%

Pass the CLAT exam

Getting into CNLU depends on your performance in the CLAT exam and the online counseling that follows. 

The minimum rank required for general category students for the 2023 CLAT Fifth Provisional Allotment List was:

First of all you also know that placement depends on your skills and knowledge not college only, I mean it depends 40%on college 60%you know.

The median package offered to BA LLB/ BBA LLB and LLM students during CNLU Patna placements 2022 was INR 10.10 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. CNLU Placements 2022: A growth of almost 33% was recorded in the 2022 median package for BA LLB/ BBA LLB courses when compared with 2021.

If you want to get admission to any National Law University (NLU) in India, candidates should target a score of 80 to 85 in the CLAT 2024. 

 The cut-off is the minimum mark needed to be admitted into the target college. The cut-off is based on All India Ranks. For the general category, the CLAT Cut Off often falls between 95 and 100, whereas for the SC/ST category, it typically falls between 80 and 85.

To be eligible for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree programme at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) in Patna, you must meet the following criteria: 

Pass 10+2 or equivalent

Score at least 45% in the aggregate

Score at least 40% for SC/ST category

Pass CLAT

The programme is five years long. The selection criteria are entrance based. There is no upper age limit for the programme so. Don't worry about it

Top 3 NLUs: 100–105

Top 5 NLUs: 90–95
