No, you cannot get admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course at Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (KCAET) without taking the KEAM exam. Admission is primarily based on the rank obtained in the Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination, which is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.

| PG Diploma | Candidates completed graduation/bachelor's degree e in Agriculture and allied Science from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidates having Bachelor's degree with 3 years duration will not be considered for admission through ICAR AIEEA (PG)-2023 in AU under ICAR-AU system except in few courses at two ICAR-Deemed to be Universities (DUs), viz. IARI and NDRI for which the eligibility criteria of the concerned ICAR-DU, including admission of graduates having passed with 3 years' degree are eligible for admission. Candidate should not below 19 years of age as on 31.08.2023. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate who have obtained any Diploma or vocational course after matriculation will not be eligible. The medium of instruction in the admitting University will be English. The minimum age limit should be 16 years of age as on 31.08.2023. |

Candidate who have passed qualifying examination without Biology/Mathematics will have to complete deficiency courses. Candidate of physically handicapped category with minimum aggregate marks 40% are eligible to apply. |
