- The candidates firstly have to give the entrance exam which is called Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Exam (TNEA).
- After that you have to apply for the state counselling.
- Based on the merit list the seat will be allotted to the candidates.

No, you can't get admission in CEG, Anna University directly. Admission of a candidate into CEG, Anna University The TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) test will be held at Anna University. Candidates can use this to apply for admission to a range of UG engineering programs, including degree programs leading to the B.E./B.Tech. There is an annual state-level admissions procedure.
