the answer of your question is- Yes, there are various types of scholarships available for students in the college. let me give you some examples of the scholarships:-

  • E-Grantz (SC/ST/OBC Students)
  • Central Sector Scholarship (Meritorious Students)
  • Post-Matric Scholarships
  • IHRD Merit Scholarships

Fee Concessions are also given for Economically Backward Students.

These scholarships are applied through state and central government portals.

Hello!

To get admission into B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 (HSE) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects with atleast 45% marks.  Admission is through KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) exam. The seat distribution is as follows:

  • 50% Merit (Free Seats)
  • 35% Management Quota
  • 15% NRI Quota (Based on HSE marks only)

Lateral entry is also available for Diploma holders.

The score of KEAM exam decides your admission at College of Engineering, Chengannur .

To get admission into CEC, Chengannur, you have to go through Kerala Common entrance exam .

The admission is 50% based on merit .

The entrance exams are generally conducted in the month of April .

The criteria for getting admission in Kerala based institute in BTech courses depend on Kerala government and concerned universities. They release the prospectus every year for getting admission in professional degree courses .

CEC, Chengannur has 4 hostel. One boys hostel accomodates 70 students and 3 girls hostels accomodates 250 students .

The hostel is rated 5/10

The food is okay and the quality of food is good . 

The taste of food also differs from one person to another.

The KEAM exam for BTech course was held in April month of 2025 .

The result has been released in the month of May, 2025

The counselling is yet to be started. According to KEAM notifications, the counselling will be starting in the month of July, 2025

So, we can only predict the expected cutoff.

The expected cutoff for Round 1 is 5513 - 41176
