The admission process for BTech course at both colleges, VJTI Mumbai and COEP Pune is almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from Science stream with an aggregate of 45% Moreover, candidates are selected for COEP BTech admission and VJTI Mumbai BTech admission based on their performance in national-level exams such as JEE Main or MHT-CET. 

Moreover, the NIRF ranking for COEP Pune in Engineering category is 77, and VJTI Mumbai lies between the ranks of 101 and 150. If we consider the factor of seating capacity, then COEP Pune offers 758 seats over 10 specializations, and VJTI Mumbai offers 540 seats over nine specializations. 

Conclusively, it is really hard to compare which institution it is easier to get admissions into for BTech courses. Therefore, candidates can choose any of the colleges according to their budget, career goals, and location preference. However, an important thing to note is COEP Pune has a better NIRF ranking than VJTI Mumbai. 

After completing a BE at BV College of Engineering, Pune, graduates have a plethora of career options to choose from. These options extend over the private as well as the government sector. Some common government job opportunities for BE graduates of the college are listed below:

1. PSUs: Companies like BHEL, ONGC, NTPC, and GAIL recruit BTech graduates through competitive exams like GATE.

The NITs are most prestigious engineering college after the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). NITs are also known for their high standards of education which helps to develop essential technical and theoretical skills. However, the computer engineering department is well-equipped, featuring an outstanding faculty and active coding clubs which effectively prepare students for careers in the IT or software industry. Apart from the quality of education, placement records are record-breaking.

Although, the COEP, Pune is also a respected government institution that provides quality education and good placement opportunities. However, it does not quite match the NIT in any significant respect. Moreover, for candidates seeking admission to the Computer Engineering branch, NIT emerges as the superior choice compared to COEP.
