The admission process for BTech course at both colleges, VJTI Mumbai and COEP Pune is almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from Science stream with an aggregate of 45% Moreover, candidates are selected for COEP BTech admission and VJTI Mumbai BTech admission based on their performance in national-level exams such as JEE Main or MHT-CET.
Moreover, the NIRF ranking for COEP Pune in Engineering category is 77, and VJTI Mumbai lies between the ranks of 101 and 150. If we consider the factor of seating capacity, then COEP Pune offers 758 seats over 10 specializations, and VJTI Mumbai offers 540 se

To get into COEP for B.Tech, you need to pass 10+2 with PCM and qualify through MHT CET or JEE Main.
The admission process is via Maharashtra CAP counseling.
Total fees are around INR 2.8 to 6.5 lakhs for the full course depending on category and hostel preferences.

It is bit difficult to get admission for someone in COEP with a rank of 146k in JEE Mains. For OBC candidates, the rank should be below 40k to get admission in COEP but other reserved candidates can get the admission with 146k rank. Other engineering schools with higher cutoffs can be worth.

Yes, TSSM's Bhivarabai Sawant College of Engineering has a placement cell that ensures placement assistance to every student. It is also responsible for conducting on-campus placement drives and organises a wide range of activities such as industry visits, live projects, workshops, guest lectures and seminars.

The institute has not disclosed the complete statistics for the placement drive 2020-21. The average package offered in 2021 is yet to be disclosed on the official website. It'll be updated here once it is released. However, the average package offered to BTech students during TSSM College of Engineering Pune placement 2021 was INR 3.5 LPA.
