In Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology there is no provision for 100 % scholarship for MCA program. There could be scholarship for academic achievement or for reserved category or based on government rules; however, full scholarship for all types of fees is not common. Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is considered as Tier 2 college depending on year to year regional Magazine surveys based on parameters such as the quality of education, quality of the faculty, placement record and quality of infrastructure etc. As much it is not nationally ranked amongst the best engineering colleges on most occasions, it enjoys a fairly good reputation, in some provisions, across the region. BVUCOE Pune accepts students on an entrance basis. Students seeking to apply for any of the courses offered at the college are required to appear for either the CET conducted by Bharti Vidyapeeth or other accepted entrance exams. Foreign National/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI candidates need to present a valid score of relevant All India Common Entrance Test. Although, the institute does fill in the vacant seats through the Institutional Quota Merit category, it is still subject to fulfilment of the basic admission criteria.
