It is said that the hostel mess of Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's College of Engineering, SSPMCOE, provides average quality food. Some students claim that the food served is healthy, while others say that it is just average in terms of taste and variety. There is a committee formed in the mess to review the quality on a regular basis so that the standards of hygiene in food and overall satisfaction are maintained. Although there are a few positive reviews, there is a need to improve the taste and variety for students with varied preferences. On the whole, the mess provides nourishment for the students.
