The students seeking admission to the first year of B.E./B.Tech course in S.D. College of Engineering and Technology are admitted through Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) counseling (85 percentage) and management quota (15 percentage). When considering the rank obtained in JEE Main, it is not compulsory. Those candidates who scored 45% marks in 10+2 exam (40% for SC/ST) with Physics, chemistry and math are eligible to apply. UPSEE rank is preferred but there is also management quota direct admission is also possible. Application acceptance rates are approximately 70% – 80%. About a total of 600 seats for these program

Fees range for the course offered by S. D. College of Engineering and Technology differ from per program. For B.Tech the fee is approximately INR 105,500 – 120,500 per annum . The M.Tech programme is slightly more expensive and each year may range from INR 80,000/- to INR 1,00,000/-. Diploma courses cost between INR 40,000 to INR 60,000 per year . Also, MBA is provided in the college with the fee structure of INR 80,000-120,000 per annum. However, the above fees are estimated and changing from time to time, so you are suggested to contact the colleges for updated fees.

For UG/PG courses at S.D. College of Engineering and Technology, eligibility criteria are as follows: UG courses need at least 45% marks in 10 + 2 provided Physics, Maths and chemistry with 40% for SC/ST categories. JEE Main ranking is also given importance. For admission in PG courses, candidates should have 50% marks in graduation and for SC/ST, it is 45%. It offers 85% seats under UP State Government counselling and 15% seats under the management quota and Admission is through Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's Karmaveer Adv. Baburao Thakare College of Engineering faculty is very highly qualified and well experienced. In each branch there are around 12-15 faculty with minimum Mtech graduates with well experienced industry experience. Each lab contains one technical assistant which helps student during practicals. Some faculty are PhD scholars with highly research experience in their field. They actually arrange various seminars and workshops for the better understanding for their students from their faculties.

Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's Karmaveer Adv. Baburao Thakare College of Engineering Alumni circle is very strong. Many Alumini works in many big position of different sectors. There are many mnc's and top well known companies recruit the students from different sectors. There are many Aluminis those are in different companies gives there references to the fellow upcoming alumnis. The MHT CET cutoff for Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's Karmaveer Adv. Baburao Thakare College of Engineering varries for different branches according to the sources The 2024 overall cutoff percentile for MHT CET is 13.24-76.54 . There are also three rounds for admission it varries from different round. The highest cutoff is for branch computer Engineering and the lowest cutoff is for branch civil engineering. There are also other branch like etc., IT, AI& Data science, Instrumentation and control and Mechanical Engineering.

Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's Karmaveer Adv. Baburao Thakare College of Engineering offers BE programs to UG candidates and ME, MBA and MCA programs to PG candidates. Yes they also provide lateral entry to the BE Students. If the student passed 10+2 in pcm at least 45% from a recognised board. And they have to give the Maharashtra government entrance for an entry called MHT CET. The branch and admission are based on their MHT CET score. For lateral students they also have to give entrance and pass the Diploma in engineering from the recognised board. According to the past sources Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's Karmaveer Adv. Baburao Thakare College of Engineering gives 100% scholarship to the student who belongs to J&K Quota. But they also gives 50% scholarship to obc category gives around 85% scholarship to tfws category and around 95% scholarship to sc/st category. Yes this college give huge discount in fees to all special category student and thats make them top Engineering college in nashik.

The government college, B.D.T College of Engineering, is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Established in the year 1951, it was the only government engineering college in Karnataka in the olden days. Over the years, it shifted to various affiliations and it is now a constituent of the VTU since 24th of February 2011. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in every branch of engineering.
