Shanti Devi Memorial Mahila Degree College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| M.Sc. | Candidate must have passed B.A degree with Home Science as a Compulsory subject or B.Sc Home Science Degree either 3 year programme or 4 year programme from any recognised university. |

| M.A. | Candidate must have passed B.A/ B.Sc from any recognised University, and he/she must also have passed the third year exam in the concerned subject |
