The institute has a placement cell that interacts with more than 200 reputed organizations for arranging campus interviews for the final year BE/Mtech/MCA/PhD students.
The placement highlights for the academic year 2021-22 include the highest package of 43.18 LPA and visits from over 450 companies, including 260 IT companies and 150 core companies.
Nearly 85% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the average package offered was 3.5 LPA by companies such as HCL, TCS, Infosys, Epsilon etc.

The institution provides various courses, to get admission in M.Sc candidates must have to fill PIMS Bangalore application form and send it to the institution along with necessary document via email or in person. The approximate fees for Birla Institute of Technology Sindri is around 2 lacs for the couses offered by it. The college charges 1.9 lac for general and obc categories in B.Tech course for the entire completion of the course. The yearly fees for the course is under 22,000, which when compared to other private institutions and other branches of BIT is quiet less.
The college is located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, it is not only a great institution that provides a lot of opportunities to the students but it is also a very prestigious institution that allows students to get quality education in a minimum fees.

Since Birla Institute of Technology is a private institution, there isn't any such difficulty in getting in. However students are expected to present themselves in an entrance examination along with a good average percentile in their 12th boards. The student must belong to Science background specifically in their 11th and 12th.
