MNNIT Allahabad saw a fluctuating trend for admission to the BTech in Electrical Engineering course over three years for the OBC category students under the HS quota. Comparing the JoSAA Round 6 cutoff, the closing rank was 4710 in 2023; the cutoff rank saw a significant jump in 2024 with a cutoff closing at 19387. In 2025, the cutoff rank further decreased to 4845 for admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering. This pattern signifies that the competition for B.Tech in Electrical Engineering keeps fluctuating; however, in 2025 it was particularly hard for aspirants to avail admissions.

With 217 marks in CUET UG, it would seem to be a difficult task to get into Allahabad University for BALLB (Hons), particularly for the general category. For BALLB, we are estimating the cutoffs to be around 480+ for general, 440+ for OBC, and 385+ for SC. In this instance, if you belong to any category that is reserved such as SC or ST, your chances are a lot better, especially if cutoff trends are consistent.
