If you're new to IT, you start with four core subjects: Programming & Software Development, Algorithms & Complexity, Internet Technologies, and Database Systems & Information Modelling. After that, you pick a specialisation, such as Artificial Intelligence, Computing, Cyber Security, Distributed Computing, or Human? Computer Interaction, and complete both specialisation and advanced elective subjects aligned with your chosen track.

Staying on-campus at Taylor's is good for first-time students as it is safe, near classes, and helps you make friends easily. But it is costly and rooms are small. Off-campus places are cheaper, gives more freedom, and have bigger rooms. Many students shift off-campus after a few months for better comfort and value.
