All the Indian students going for the UG level at the University of Melbourne need to pay a minimum deposit of AUD 17,000 (INR 11.25L) to accept their offer and secure their place.

The deposit is higher than most Australian universities, where the deposit is just AUD 1,000 to AUD 3,000.

The University of Melbourne enrolment deposit of AUD 17,000 is to be paid at the time of offer acceptance and after the university receives it, they issue the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) which is required to apply for the Australian student visa

(AUD 1 = INR 66.19)

Indian students who have completed prior study in India are required to apply via the University of Melbourne's authorised education agents, as direct applications are not accepted.

The agent helps in the verification of your documentation before the university is able to process the application.

Indian students can check the list of verified agents on study.unimelb.edu.au before starting their applications.
