SIRT Bhopal offers around 20+ specialisations in courses such as BTech, MTech, MBA, and MCA. These courses are affiliated with either RGPV University or Barkatullah University, respectively. The popular programs involve BTech and MBA, wherein, BTech offers more than 10 specialisations. The eligibility criteria for every course involve an aggregate of class 12 and entrance exam scores such as JEE Main.

After completing a course such as BTech, students receive placements, while some get selected for higher education. As per the records of the year 2022, the highest package for a BTech was INR 23 LPA and around 2200+ students were offered a placement. Similarly, for several other UG and PG level courses, students opt for placements and/or get selected for higher studies.

BU Bhopal admit candidates to the B.Ed programme on merit-basis. Hence, the applicants performance in the last qualifying examination is taken into consideration for selection. Additionally, the sanctioned seat intake is also considered at the time of seat allotment.
