For lateral entry, PULEET is conducted by the university for admission. UIET selects aspirants for ME/ M.Tech courses based on GATE score. University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET) is an engineering college affiliated with Panjab University. The institute is recognised by the AICTE and located in Chandigarh. UIET offers degree programmes to candidates at UG and PG levels in the field of Engineering and Technology. The admission process will vary depending on the course selected by the candidates. For BE, admission will be based on JEE Main followed by JAC Counselling. For MTech, candidates need to qualify GATE or complete the merit requirment set by the institute.
