For an MBA at UBS Chandigarh, a candidate must fulfil the eligibility requirements prescribed by the authorities. Candidates with a valid bachelor's degree from a recognised university and a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible. There is 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD/ BC candidates. 

Aspirants who have passed final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England, or Institute of Company Secretaries of India can also apply. Candidates who have qualified AMIE examination with at least 50% aggregate or more after having passed the diploma exam with at least 60% aggregate with five years research/ teaching or professional experience can also apply.

Studies in Panjab University are at par with the leading Educational Institutes in our country. It was even the highest ranked Indian Institute for a while according to a survey by Times Higher education. Should have passed FA/F.Sc./ A level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Should have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) with 50% passing marks and with a validity date for admission. Must have appeared in the PU Admission Test conducted by Punjab University. To be eligible for the three-year PU LLB course, a candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate marks or 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
