The main motive of the university to provide this is that they want their students to grow up according to other universities in the world.
But as far as the difference is concerned, it is almost the same as B.Tech.

That's a good score which you are expecting, but NATA being a national wide test, there are more number of people to score more and the type of college you get all depends on the rank and your selection, and 110 is actually a good score. There are more chances to get the college you are interested in. All the best for your further future.

If I talk about my review, Panjab University is the best in Chandigarh, I believe it should be declared a central university keeping in mind its reputation and other facilities.
I will like to mention some points that make this university "the best".
1. Beautiful campus: The panjab university campus, according to me, us the most beautiful thing you can see here at Chandigarh.
You can get admission there with your high percentage.

You can get direct admission very easily. According to your percentage in class 12th, you are not eligible for scholarship, but you can apply for CUSAT form and all other information related to CUSAT is on our site cuchd.in. You can login and be the part of our fastrack, for more detailed information. And, as you decision is concerned, you are at your right path for pursuing B.Tech in CU. CSE department provides highest placement in the North India and Microsoft. The well-known company selects max numbers of its own settled selected students from our university. Thank and good luck for your future.

There is not a big difference between these two. Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) has three campuses. Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landra (2001), Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Gharuan (2009), CGC University. After that CGC-Gharuan is transformed to Chandigarh University, Gharuan. Now, it's affiliated to University Grant Commission (UGC). Now, it's independent entity. Have its own courses and curriculum. But placement is joint.
