Hi Dushyant,
Chandigarh University has different programmes and the eligibility varies from one programme to another. Hence, I would request you to visit the official website of the university to get the admission details for a said course or contact the institute officials directly.

Only M.A. (Eco) is not good enough to get a attractive placement you should add professional degree to get good package although based on your MA (Eco.) you can get a job in teaching field as an Assistant Professor after passing the qualifying exam like NET.

Hi Aparna,
Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute. You can consider the below parameters
1) Faculty,

3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Hope this information helps. Pleas

Teaching in college requires you to clear NET ( National eligibility test) to be placed as professor. The current CTC for an assistant professor is around Rs 40000 pm. Rest depends on your experience and status of college/ university.
