CIT Coimbatore released an official notification to declare the date and time of joining for selected candidates. As per the official notice, selected candidates could report from Jun 24 to Jun 27, 2024 from 9:30 am onwards. Students had to bring all the original certificates along with attested copies and DD of INR 78,400 as the first semester fee. The candidates can download the CIT bunch from the official website as well.

Candidates seeking admission to a integrated MSc course of CIT Coimbatore must be Class 12 or equivalent pass from a recognised board. The qualifying exam should have been passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and secured at least 75% aggregate (except for SC/ST candidates).
The applicants of Decision and Computing Sciences course can apply with some other subject combinations as well. Out of which one subject can be from Category A and two from Category B. Subjects under both the categories are mentioned below:

The Coimbatore Institute of Technology does not offer a single BSc programme. It offers the UG course as an integrated programme with MSc. The integrated course is available in four specialisations. For admission, the aspirants are required to take the entrance test conducted by the institute and then the technical interview. Following this, final selection is done based on academic performance, entrance score, and performance in technical interview round. Before applying, aspirants should check eligibility criteria. The applications are accepted in online mode.

SASTRA University carries a good repute for its field of engineering and research level which also means that it has the industrial mobility well connected with what so ever. Its placement rates are impressive, with collaborations from top companies.
SKCET (Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology) — Like previous colleges, this is a respectable college, especially for its engineering departments and their faculty. However, it does not have the national brand power or reach that SASTRA has.
