KCE offers management quota for many courses so You can get admission through Management Quota based on 10+2 marks and with no entrance exam. Students who wish to seek admission through this quota need to apply directly to the college . The fees is also higher than the usual government quota done through TNEA councelling .

The fees (in INR) for courses offered by KCE varies across different courses
- For BE/BTech, the fees is upto 3.48 Lakhs while for B.Tech and MBA it's 1.75 Lakhs to 2.25 Lakhs.
- For Lateral entry the total fees for B.E is around 2.61 lakhs.
- While for M.E./M.Tech it's 50K p.a.,
- And MBA/PGDM- 35K p.a.

For admission in Kathir college of engineering KCE - the students need to Qualify the entrance exam TNEA for Undergraduate courses and TANCET for post graduation . The students will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the qualifying exam followed by TNEA (For UG) And TANCA ( for PG) councelling process.
