CIT - Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology offers Engineering and Management courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

UG:

At the UG level, the institute offers only BTech courses. Admission to the courses is based on the scores obtained in the COMEDK UGET or KCET exam. To be eligible for any course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45 % in class 12th in a relevant stream from any recognized board.

The TNEA counseling is conducted by the Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology. The result date for the is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has been started. For example, in 2024, the process was started on 6th May 2024 and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process for first round was started on 7th May and the results are expected to be released by 17th week of July.
