DIT University Dehradun has released the placement report 2024 for School of Engineering & Technology and School of Computing. As per the SOET report, highest and median package offered was 7.25 LPA and 5 LPA. The placement rate recorded was 64.61%.
As per the SOC report, placement rate recorded for this School was 62.3%. Highest and median package offered was 44 LPA and 6 LPA.

DIT University accepts JEE Main, GATE and UKSEE (for Uttarakhand students) entrance exams for admission to B.Tech. For general category students, the minimum score in JEE Main is around 90%. Apart from the entrance exam score, DIT University also considers the performance of candidates in the 10+2 final exam for admission to B.Tech.

Candidates who secure the minimum 50 % marks at National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) shall be eligible for admission to BPT course. The institute provides admission on first come first serve basis based on merit and an interview round till all the seats are filled. For admission, candidates must apply online on the official website of Baba Farid Group of Institutions for all UG, PG, and diploma courses.

Candidates must meet the prerequisites in order to be admitted to the three-year BCA or BCA Industry Integrated program. Applicants for this course may be those who have passed Class 12 in any Science or commerce stream with mathematics as one of the core topics. Merit-based admissions govern GEU's BCA program. A candidate's eligibility is determined by how well they performed on the prior qualifying exam. When determining their ultimate admission, their Class 12 merit score will be taken into account.
