Getting into De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK is generally moderate in difficulty—it's less competitive than top-tier universities but still has specific requirements. For Indian students, you'll typically need 60–70% in your 12th grade for undergraduate courses or 55–60% in your bachelor's degree for postgraduate programs, along with an IELTS score of 6.0–6.5  (or equivalent). If you're hunting for a decent government college in Dehradun for a BA, Government Degree College, Dehradun is a pretty chill option. It's a regular 3-year full-time course with around 280 seats, and you'll find all the usual humanities subjects there. The entry requirements aren't too wild; just pass your UK board 12th or equivalent, and you're good. Admission's mostly merit-based, so just keep checking the state education portal for updates and cutoffs.
