Once the institute has closed the application portal, the admission committee begins with the selection process. Candidates are ranked based on marks obtained in the CEED exam. Students participating in the admission process must keep checking the official website to stay updated with the release of the merit list. Those who are offered seats must further report to the institute for document verification and payment of fees.

Both DU and BHU are brands in India.
You can refer NIRF ranking and consider other factors like fees, location etc.
In my view DU is slighlt bigger brand.

With an All India ranking of 13,931 and an EWS category rank of 1,265 in CLAT your chances of admission to the IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) for the B.Tech LLB may be challenging but not impossible Admission is primarily based on merit from the CLAT scores. The university will release a merit list for counselling based on these ranks and will accept those scores in the summer of 2021. The cutoff differs each year depending on factors such as the number of applicants and available seats.
Given your EWS rank, it may be a better chance compared with your All India rank especially as IPU considers category-specific cutoff.
