BIT Sindri offers BTech, MTech and PhD courses across 15 departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, etc. Candidates who have passed Class 12 can apply for UG courses. Graduation is necessary to apply for PG courses. Admission to UG and PG courses is based on specified entrance exam score.

Yes, admission to BTech courses at IIT Dhanbad is only through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Candidates seeking admission must pass JEE Main, students selected further need to take JEE Advanced. Based on the score secured in JEE Advanced, students are called for JoSAA Counselling. Aspirants are offered seat based on their rank. JoSAA releases a cutoffs round-wise for students. Aspirants securing the cutoff rank or above can take admission by blocking the seat. Aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the BTech course of IIT Dhanbad.

GATE 2024 registration is ongoing, interested students seeking admission can apply online till Sep 29. GATE 2024 exam will be held on Feb 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. IIT JAM 2024 registration is ongoing for the academic year 2024-2025. The last date to apply is Oct 13, 2023. IIT JAM 2024 exam will be conducted on Feb 11, 2024.

To be eligible for the IIT Dhanbad MBA course, a candidate needs to graduate in any discipline from any recognised University. Further, students shall have the relevant documents as proof of eligibility with them as well. Check below MBA course-wise eligibility:
