 Gandhinagar University is a State Private University. It was established in 2006 and is approved by AICTE and the Government of Gujarat. The college offers various courses in the fields of Engineering, Management, Humanities, Science, Computer Science, and Law at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Yes, admission to Gandhinagar University B.E./B.Tech courses is possible without GUJCET, but you can get admission based on your JEE Main score. A specific percentage of seats are reserved for JEE Main candidates. You will need to register for the counseling process and select JEE Main as your qualifying exam instead of GUJCET.

The University has a well-equipped Industry Interaction and Placement Cell, which facilitates all types of placemen related activities. The placement cell organises grooming sessions, orientation programs and mock interview sessions for students. The University also organises summer internship programs to provide students hands-on corporate experience.

 

Gandhinagar University average package offered during placements 2023 was INR 4 LPA. The percentage of students placed was 95% and more than 125 companies visited the campus in 2023. The University has established 15 active MoUs with companies for better placements.

The last date to apply without a late fee was December 31, 2024, which was extended to January 7, 2025. The deadline for registration with a late fee was January 15, 2025. The GUJCET exam was held on March 23, 2025.
