The Gujarat National Law University has a very competitive LLB programme with a minimum intake of seats. The number of seats sanctioned in GNLU LLB differs every year and is available as per the admission level. While the total seat intake for the LLB course is 204. However, the mentioned GNLU LLB seat intake is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.

GNLU divides the intake largely on the basis of the rank acquired by candidates in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The higher rank obtained in CLAT ensures a seat to the LLB course, and the final allotment depends on the availability of seats and the preference exercised at the time of CLAT counselling. It is essential to get high marks in the CLAT exam to increase the prospect of getting a seat at GNLU to pursue the LLB course.

Gaining admission to the LLB course at Gujarat National Law University is not very easy due to merit positions. The university is fairly accomplished in its academics and placement records, and every year it attracts a considerable number of applicants. There are only 204 seats available in the LLB course; hence, students have to prove their academic excellence based on the accepted entrance exam. In addition to this, they must prepare themselves well in advance and prove their capabilities at the time of admission.
